Brandon Magee

Brandon Ray Herbert Magee, 17, of Alden, passed away on June 11, 2015 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility following a long battle. Brandon was born on September 28, 1997 in Traverse City. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and "muddin" and "wheeling" with his buddies. Brandon graduated in 2015 from Mancelona High School with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Brandon was a special young man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents Travis (Katie Forker) Magee of Alden, a brother Hershall Magee, two sisters, Lexi and Amber Magee all of Alden, his paternal grandparents Hershall (Judy) Magee of Alden, Grandma Dot of Rapid City, Uncle Dom (Shiloh) Magee of Kalkaska, uncle Jeremy (Beth) Forker of Kalkaska, aunt Marti (Jason Crane) Forker of Phoenix, AZ, cousins Teya and Trent Magee as well as 6 other cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle Pat Magee. A viewing celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
