Bonnie Jean Bellows, 70, of Charlevoix, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at Charlevoix Area Hospital. She was born August 11, 1944, in Petoskey to Oliver M. and Lilly Belle (Hubble) Gram. On February 19, 1977, she married William Bellows in Petoskey. They made their home in Charlevoix.

Bonnie worked as a waitress at the Hillcrest Country Club in Roseville, and Leuthheuser's Restaurant in Charlevoix. She was an avid reader, taught Vacation Bible School, volunteered at the Rainbow Shoppe, and Republican Party, and sold Avon for many years. Bonnie also worked at Bendix-Courters in Boyne City.

She was a member of Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, William L. Bellows of Charlevoix; daughters, Dona (Darryl) Burleson of Asheville, N.C., Bill (Sallie) Bellows of Summerfield, N.C., Beth (Bruce) Cook of Black Mountain, N.C., Pamela (Wes) McCoy of Palm Harbor, Fla., Kim Pelzel of East Jordan, Stan Sutherland of Wisconsin; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Dave) Baily of Fountain, Colo., Mary (Bill) Boros, Julia Eppler all of Petoskey; brother, Oliver “Butch” (Diane) Gram of Bay Shore.

(She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Bellows; great-grandchild, Elyssa Lane Roman; parents, Oliver and Lilly; sister, Darlene Bowell; son-in-law, James Pelzel.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, July 10, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Saturday, July 11, at Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix. Interment will take place at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Charlevoix.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
