Betty Thompson

Betty Thompson, 84, of Mancelona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her home with her daughter Stacey. She was born on November 20, 1938, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Raymond and Lucille (Sheldon) Eichenberg.

Betty worked as a bookkeeper for Spiral Industries in Howell for many years before retiring to Mancelona with her late husband, Richard, in 1995.  She enjoyed baking, getting her hair done, and going to the casino when she could.  Betty is survived by her daughters Stacey Kline and Jenny Taylor; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Thompson; her parents; and two brothers, Raymond Eichenberg and Charles Eichenberg.

A time for visiting and sharing memories will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel in Novi, MI.
