Betty Lou Patrick, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in Sebring, Fla. She was born November 19, 1931, in Hagler, Idaho to the late Leo and Rhoda (Peters) Putman. Betty was a homemaker, liked to craft, loved to decorate for Christmas and collect angels. She also enjoyed reading Christian Amish stories. She especially loved her family and was an inspiration to all her family to come to the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of Trinity Missionary Church in Petoskey. Leaving Charlevoix she has been a resident of Sebring, Fla. since 1999. Survivors include her husband: Paddy Patrick of Sebring, Fla.; children: Michael and spouse JoAnne Patrick of Charlevoix, Mich.; Della Smith of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; Danny and spouse Estela Patrick of Sebring, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11 am, Monday, December 21, at the First Baptist Church, 6781 M-66 Hwy., Charlevoix, MI 49720, where the funeral will begin at 12 noon. Pastor Steve Beigle of the Trinity Missionary Church in Petoskey will officiate assisted by Pastor David Behling. She will be laid to rest at the Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix.
