Betty Carley

Betty Margaret Carley, 76, of Mancelona, passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born on February 2, 1945 in Rogers City, MI, the daughter of August and Rose (Sobczyski) Fuhrman.

Betty loved her family more than anything else and spent as much time as she could with them.  She worked at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire for over 35 years before retiring.  In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and reading.

Betty is survived by three children, Tammy (Paul) Shafer of Gaylord, Kristie Watrous of Bellaire, and Mike Carley of East Jordan; her brother, Raymond (Kay) Fuhrman of Rogers City; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Keith Carley; and two brothers, Donald Fuhrman and Arthur Fuhrman.
