Barbara E Tyle

Barbara Ellen Tyle passed away with loving family at her side on June 10th. Joining the love of her life, Dave, who she has desperately missed for 16 years and is now most definitely at peace with.

She was a force to be reckoned with, and lived and loved “her way” right up to the very end. Barbara, also known as Mops, Lillian or Lill was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cookbooks and cooking shows, gardening, knitting, antiques and classic things. If she thought she was right, and she DID, you learned to concede or at least pretend to. She loved shopping and a good deal and had a flare for fashion. In her day she loved a martini and listening to the crooners of the classics. Pieces of her heart belong to Torch Lake and the house she made a home for her family in Ferndale. She had a great and sometimes twisted sense of humor and loved to regale stories of raising her 3 children and all the chapters that come along with doing so. She was most proud of her 3 children and was known to boast how wonderful she saw them to be.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband David Anthony Tyle Sr., grandson Henry David Tyle and great granddaughter Fallon Elizabeth Ramsey.

Surviving are her 3 children, David(Kelly) of Clawson, MI; Tracey (Brian) of Bellaire, MI; Scott (Beth) of Peterborough, NH; her grandchildren Riley (Haley), Jack, Trevor, Taylor, Molly and Emma and great grandchildren Noah and Peyton. She will be missed and remembered for all the good times and life lessons she taught us.

As Barbara wished, there will be no formal services. We will each remember and memorialize her in our own way and in our own time.

Arrangements are in the care of the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
