Barbara Marshall

Barbara A. Marshall, 81, of Boyne City, passed away on February 13, 2016 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City, Fla. Barbara was born on May 16, 1934, in Boyne City, the daughter of Kenneth and Una (Ingalls) Snyder. Barbara was an "independent" woman who lived life to the fullest and was a kind hearted person who would help anyone in need. She was a faithful woman and enjoyed birds, flowers, gardening, reading, simply being outdoors enjoying mother nature, and most of all taking her yearly road trips with her mother and sisters. She is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth (Sherry) Bedford of Boyne City, Donald Marshall of Lompoc, CA, a sister, Jane Laurie of Boyne City, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Marshall, a sister, Mary Lou Ingalls as well as her parents. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Gary Bekkering will officiate. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township in the spring as weather permits. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
