Barbara Hartwig

Barbara A. Hartwig, 88, of Central Lake, passed away on January 17, 2022 at the Eastport Village Care Home.

She was born on May 4, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Heley) McClure.
For many years, she was in home health care. She enjoyed helping around the family farm and doing various home projects, especially canning and painting.

Surviving are 3 children, David (Carmen) Hartwig of Central Lake, Kathy (Barry) Clark of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Larry (Sandy) Hartwig of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, 5 grandchildren, Michael (Brenda) Hartwig Daniel (Gabby) Hartwig both of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Amie (Dave) Shymko, Jennifer Newell both of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada as well as Tom Clark of British, Columbia, 2 great-grandchildren, Maxim Shymko, Jaxon Newell and a sister Marie Ronse of Sterling Heights, MI.

Preceding her in death were her husband Clarence Hartwig, 2 sisters, Gloria McClure, Dorothy Code and her parents.

No services are planned at this time.
