Barbara Grise

Barbara P.C. Grise, 88 of Central Lake died peacefully, Mar. 22, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born Mar. 21, 1928 in Mansfield, MA the daughter of Oliver and Margaret (Staples) Milson. Barb loved pets and horses. She also loved spending time with her family and cooking for them too. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time gardening, especially tending to her orchids. In her younger years Barb enjoyed dancing, skating, and tennis. Surviving Barb are her children Denise (Tom) Murray of East Jordan, Debbie Grise of Central Lake, Donna (Dennie) Carr of Forsyth, MO, Larry Grise, Lisa (Carl) Fromholz of Acme, John (Nicole) Grise of Gainsville, GA, 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 2000, her parents, 2 sisters Miriam Robison and Georgia Linn, daughter in law Linda, grandson Spencer and granddaughter Dhana. A private family burial will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake, alongside of her husband. Memorial contributions can be directed to Antrim County Animal Control and Humane Society.
