Arvilla Shepard

Arvilla Louise Shepard, 88 of Alba, died March 14, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Arvilla was born on September 10, 1929, in Chestonia Township, the daughter of Daniel and Gladys (Larson) Scholl.

Surviving are her children Dennis (Nancy) Shepard, Marlene (Robert) Kauska, and Penny LaPratt, siblings Dorothy (Orlo) Wildfong, Marvin (Mary) Scholl, Richard (Jackie) Scholl, Roger (Bonnie) Scholl, Betty (Tom) Hoppe, Gordon (Audrey) Scholl, Janet Gothrup, and Linda (Leonard) McHugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Shepard, son Theodore Shepard, grandson Andrew Shepard, a sister Virginia Hubbard, brother August Scholl as well as her parents.

Graveside services at Star Township Cemetery will held in the spring.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local charity of the donors choice.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
