Arthur McQueen

ARTHUR C. McQUEEN died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. Art was born May 22, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Leo and Lena (Swan) McQueen. He moved to Bellaire 1973 and owned and operated Art's Place Auto Repair for many years. On June 24, 1950 in Mt. Pleasant he married Phyliss Flaugher who survives. Also surviving are four children, William (Lisa) of Harbor Springs, Roger of Bellaire, Carolyn Bryan of Bellaire, Donala (Loren) Richards of Bellaire, two brothers Carl (Connie) of Remus, Vern of Coldwater, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five children, Glenn, Sharon, Charles, Suzanne and Karen, three sisters and a brother.
