Arlene Cerny

Arlene G. Cerny, 77, of Bellaire, passed away on January 4, 2014 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Arlene was born on January 12, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Gerome and Helen (Busch) Kolbus. Arlene was a resident of Bellaire for the past 14 years and enjoyed ceramic painting, crafts, crossword puzzles, playing piano as well as boating. She is survived by 2 children, Rob (Margaret) Cerny of Bellaire, Sandra (Terry) Wieczorkowski of Chicago, 6 grandchildren, Andrew (Mariah) Cerny of Aurora, CO, Brendin Cerny of San Clemente, CA, Stefnie Cerny of Floyd, VA, Gregory Wieczorkowski, Nicole Wieczorkowski, and Timmy Wieczorkowski all of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Cerny, her parents and her sister Jackie Sullivan. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Steve Eccles officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675.
