Ardith Peters

Ardith M. Peters, 84, of Central Lake, passed away on February 28, 2014 at Munson Medical Center. Ardith was born on May 11, 1929, in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Emil and Nina (Friend) Fifer. Ardith was a resident of Central Lake for the past 21 years and was a member of the Church in the Hills in Bellaire. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, traveling, holiday decorating and most of all spending time with her family. On September 8, 1951, in Clayton, OH, she married Robert Peters who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Brian (Amy) Peters of Springfield, OH, Rhonda (Eric) Swayzee of Colonial Heights, VA, Brenda (Bill) Wallstedt of Fort Myers, Fla., Dean (Lynda) Peters of Yuba, MI, a sister June (Carl) Hollman of Mt. Airy, N.C., 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, March 8, 1:00 p.m. at Church in the Hills, Bellaire.
