Annette Nesburg

Annette Leona Nesburg, 57, devoted wife, mother and dear friend to all, passed away peacefully on

December 11, 2016 at her home in Charlevoix surrounded by family, after a courageous 3 year battle

with breast cancer. She was born in Detroit, MI on September 26, 1959 to Orville and Elizabeth Fruge.

Annette graduated from Petoskey High School and went on to receive an Associate of Business at

North Central Michigan College. Annette's first job was as a sailmaker for Gleason's Spinnaker City.

She was an active member of the Charlevoix Yacht Club and had a lifelong passion for sailing.

Together, Annette and her husband, Roger, built and operated a small family business, Charlevoix

Screen Masters, Inc. for over 30 years. A mother of four, which included a set of triplets, her family

was her life. Annette was a regular and continuous volunteer for many organizations, including youth

activity programs at the Charlevoix Montessori School, St. Mary's School, Girl Scouts, and was the

backbone of the Charlevoix Venetian Festival Kid's Day. If you ever needed something done, Annette

was the first one to volunteer. Annette defied all odds and sought all treatment possible to enjoy every

moment with her children, who were her greatest joy in life.

Annette is survived by her husband of 36 years, Roger Nesburg, their children Michael, Rachel, Daniel

and Natalie, her parents Orville and Elizabeth Fruge, her brothers Mark (Kathy) Fruge, Adam Fruge,

and Paul Fruge , her sisters Deborah (Richard) Titus, Cynthia Fruge, Cathy (John) Johnson, and Amy

(Charles) Cloyd, numerous relatives, special friends and faithful lab Otto.

A memorial service celebrating her wonderful spirit, joy and talents will be held at St. Mary of the

Assumption Catholic Church and Family Center in Charlevoix at 11:00am on Saturday, December 17,

2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Mary

School Endowment Fund, c/o St. Mary Church, 1003 Bridge St., Charlevoix, MI 49720.
