Annette Sue Kowall

Annette S. Kowall, 67, of Alden passed away on March 3, 2022 at Kalkaska Dialysis Center.

   Annette was born on September 8, 1954, the daughter of Grant Andrew and Barbara Jean (Conway) Marshall.

   She enjoyed a variety of crafts, especially scrapbooking.   She also enjoyed gardening and collecting and polishing rocks.

   Surviving are a son Correy Kowall of Mancelona, Dusty Kowall (Lori Nelson) of Milford, MI, her mother Barbara Marshall of Alden, a brother Timothy Marshall of Grand Rapids, and a niece Margaret Madison (Mike) Klopsinski of Bellaire.

   Preceding her in death were her father Grant Andrew Marshall, sister Diana Kelly, and brother-in-law Ken Kelly.

   A memorial luncheon gathering will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fresh Start Church in Bellaire.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Traverse Dyslexia Association, 735 S. Garfield Ave., Traverse City, MI, 49686.

   Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
