ANNA M. WILLIAMS, 87, of Yale, MI., formerly of Mancelona, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Medilodge of Yale. Anna was born on November 16, 1920 in East Jordan, the daughter of John and Margaret (Roasch) Kraemer. Anna was raised in East Jordan then moved to Adrian where she lived with her family for many years, upon retirement, she moved to Mancelona. She was a long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona and enjoyed music, fishing, bingo and playing cards. On March 9, 1940 in Detroit, she married John Williams who survives. Also surviving are 10 children, Raetta Doppler of Center Point, TX., Kaye (John) Afonica of Ida, MI., Carol (Darrell) Melton of Wilksboro, N.C., Marcia Gaines of Traverse City, Nancy Wilder of Traverse City, John Williams Jr. of Ann Arbor, David (Janet) Williams of Fenton, Ann (John) Uhring of Applegate, MI., Matthew (Chris) Williams of Tecumseh, MI., Jeffrey (Karen) Williams of Westland, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by a son Mark Williams, 8 siblings and her parents. A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona. Fr. Wayne Dziekan officiated. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yale, MI., or to the Medilodge of Yale.
