Ann Ecklund

Ann Marie Ecklund, 91, of Mancelona, passed away January 6, 2011 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

She was born March 11, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Anna LaGassey.

She was an avid reader, appreciated music, and a master gardener.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnne (David) Crook of New Hudson; five stepdaughters, Phyllis, Margaret, Elaine, Susan, and Kathy whom she loved very much; four grandchildren, Sally, David II, Sarah, Jason and many other special grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, Brian, Megan, Nathan and Sean; and several nieces and nephews.

Ann Marie was preceded in death by her two husbands, Charles Wagner and Cleo Ecklund; stepdaughter, Doris; three brothers, Homer, Oscar, and Wilfred.
