Angela Renee Whitinger

Angela R. Whitinger, 57, of Mancelona, passed away October 10, 2023 at her home.  Angela was born November 5, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Richard Covert and Jane Briggs.

Angela enjoyed boating, walking outdoors, and sitting outside watching the birds.  She always wanted to go to Europe, but never got the time to go.  

On May 11, 2016, she married George Whitinger who survives.  Also surviving are her children Jack (Molly) Thenikle of Indianoplis, IN, and Hailie Thenikle of Grand Rapids, step-children Kelsey (Michael) Sailor of Charlotte, MI and Konner Whitinger of Lansing, MI, as well as two step-grandsons Ty and Michael, and her parents.  

No services will be held at this time.
