Almeda Bennetts

Almeda Bennetts, 83 of Bellaire, died Apr. 9, 2012 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. She was born Nov. 17, 1928, in Flint the daughter of Shelly and Amanda (West) Thomas. On Oct. 10, 1952 in Flint, she married William Bennetts who preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her sister Joan Knight and brother William Thomas. She is survived by her children W. Craig, Gary L., and Christopher, siblings Myrna (Art) McQueen, Janet (Richard) Rowley, grandsons Brandon, Kevin, granddaughter Kayle, 2 great grandchildren Colton and Jaxson. Almeda moved to Bellaire in 1979 and was a member of the 1st Church of Christ in Traverse City. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. The family wishes to thank the staff the Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility for the loving care they gave their mother. Arrangements have handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
