Alice Elaine Watrous

Alice Elaine Watrous, 71, of Bellaire, passed away on October 29, 2024 at home. Alice was born in Cass City, Michigan on November 11, 1952 the daughter of Robert Horner and Betty "DeForest" Horner.

She resided in Antrim county for many years following her graduation from high school. On May 19, 2001 Alice married Russell Watrous in Bellaire, Michigan. Alice took up many hobbies in her walk of life. Some of them including hunting, fishing, and gardening. Living in beautiful Northern Michigan sparked her love for nature walks as well. She loved her family immensely. Alice was an ordained minister and was so proud to have married a couple of her grandchildren. 

Her memory will live on through her family including her husband; Russell Watrous, daughters; Becky (Jim) Tanner of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jennifer Youmans of Mancelona, Michigan and step-daughter Jessica Pemberton of Louisiana, grandchildren; Neil (Julia), Bradley (Samma), Alic, Matthew, Austin, Gage, Mike (Jessica), Felicia, and Todd. Great-grandchildren; Ava, Dawson, David, Ezera, Addison, Chrystal, Todd III and Shia, Mother; Betty Pinkham of Caro, Michigan, sisters; Bev (Dave) Kolkowski of Vassar, Michigan and Bobby (Roger) Abel of Lampasis, Texas.

Alice is preceded in death by her father, infant brother; Robert Horner, grandson; David Buck, and daughter; Jessica Scott.

A visitation will take place at the Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Russell Tharp officiating. Graveside services will follow in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake, MI.
