Ada Dingman

ADA V. DINGMAN, 93, of Central Lake, died on May 29, 2010 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. Ada was born on April 14, 1917 in Maslin, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Della (McAffe) Shonk. Ada was a resident of Antrim County for many years and was a long time member of the Bellaire Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as her church family, and enjoyed cooking and baking. On September 24, 1937 in Bellaire, she married Milford Dingman who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, siblings, Alma Finch, Amy Wolgamott, John Shonk as well as others. She is survived by 4 children, Doris (Larry) Hanson of Coleman, MI., Gilbert (Dorothy) Dingman of Kalkaska, Paul (Janet) Dingman of Lebenon, IN., Marlene (Ralph) Moran of Bellaire, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bellaire Wesleyan Church. Pastor Steve Eccles will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will be in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township.
