A. Brian Webb, 79, of Mancelona, passed away on January 31, 2015 at his home. Brian was born on August 16, 1935, in Grandville, MI, the son of Lloyd and Catherine (Bowhuis) Webb. Brian was a longtime resident of Mancelona where he owned and operated Cedar Valley Tile. He loved the outdoors, especially riding motorcycles, fly fishing, and collecting Petoskey stones. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by 4 children, Dr. Sean (Holly) Webb of Sherman Oaks, CA, Erin (Bill) Koenig of Mancelona, Monica (Mark Randolph) Webb of Bellaire, Michele (Scott) Stephenson of Marquette, longtime companion Kay Clark of Bellaire, a brother Bruce (Yvonne) Webb of Rockford, MI, 3 sisters, Juanita (Phil) Hood of Wyoming, MI, Jackie (Dick) Malone of Comstock Park, MI, Kathy (Ralph) Loomis of Johannesburg, 5 grandchildren, Max, Colleen, Ella, Carly, Jordan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carol Bartholomy and his wife Margaret "Peggy" (Lynch) Webb. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 7th, at 2 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of service.
