Robert King, Sr

Robert W. King, 76, of Mancelona passed away in a tragic bike accident July 18, 2014. Bob was born September 29, 1937 in Bluffcity, TN, the son of Cresswell and Lydia (Harden) King. He worked at Dura Automotive for 28 years as a Machine Repairman and retired in 1999. He also worked at Shanty Creek in Housekeeping for 15 years. He was a healthy and energetic man. He loved to play jokes on everyone. He loved life, loved God and his Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor (Kenney) King; children, Robert W. (Jackie) King Jr, Debbie (Brian) Clark, Donna (Dan) Strait, John King, Samantha (DaJuan) McCombs, 14 grandchildren and 1 on the way and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by parents and grandson, Eric King. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place per his request.
