Judith Light

Judith Marie Light, 65, of Central Lake, died Mon. Sept. 28, 209 at home with her loving husband at her side. She was born Aug. 3, 1944, in Pontiac, the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn (Carroll) Eriksen. On Sept. 11, 1965 in Waterford, she married Floyd Light. They moved to Central Lake in 1978 from Lake Orion. Judy was a member of the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed sharing The Word of the Lord and reading her Bible. She also enjoyed painting, art and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 44 yrs, Floyd, her children Tammarie (Jeff) Miller of Central Lake and Shane (Melissa) Light of Ellsworth, brother Barry (Sharon) Eriksen of Crossville, TN, grandchildren Zach Light of Central Lake currently serving in Afghanistan in the Army 82nd Airborne, Chris Light of Ellsworth, Erik and Olivia Miller of Central Lake, and Josh Light of Ellsworth. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepbrother Earl. Funeral services will be held Sat. Oct. 3, at One p.m. at the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Tharp officiating. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery. The family will receive friends Fri. Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church.
